Distribution
In accordance with applicable federal laws, D&L will mail your W2 or 1099 statement to you directly by the 31st of January. W2's or 1099's will be available for pick-up at our corporate office until Jan. 30.
Change of Address
W2's and 1099's will be printed this year with the address that we have on file for you as of the last pay date of the year.
It is HIGHLY SUGGESTED that if you have a change of address, please make sure that you provide your local post office with a "change of address" form, so that your tax documents can be forwarded onto your new address with the minimum amount of delay.
If you choose to not submit a "change of address" notice to your post office, you may submit one to us.
However, because of the volume of documents that we have, we cannot pull your tax document and make the change of address prior to originally mailing it.
If your document is returned to us because of an incorrect address, we will then use your new address information to attempt to re-send it to you 1 more time.
Please be aware, that we cannot guarantee that a document with the wrong address will ever be returned to us, or when. We have had cases in the past where tax documents with the wrong address have been returned to us 6 months after we originally mailed them!
